Arabella is a literary name. Dickens used it in one of his novels, as well as Thomas Hardy (Jude the Obscure). It is also the name of an opera. This is what drew me to the name. I also love the nickname possibilities with this name. Another nice quality of the name is that it isn't wildly popular. It sits in the 600 range on the top 1000 names in the US. This is the most popular the name has been in the history of the US SSA name lists.

- Mom and wife is what they call me now. I'm a little odd, or at least I think so. My goal in life is to have as much fun as I possibly can with my husband and kids. They can make that goal pretty easy.
