The meaning of Max alone makes it a cool name for any boy or man. And who wouldn't want to name their child after the main character of an amazing children's book (Where the Wild Things Are)! Although it was more popular towards the beginning of the 20th century, it has never dropped very low on the popularity list. It is also gaining popularity once again.
