My head might just explode!

It's May!  What does that mean?  No, I'm not talking about Mother's day.  Or my anniversary.  Or my birthday.

This is the month that many name nerds look forward to every year.  At the end of this week the Social Security Administration will release the list of the top 1000 most popular names of 2010.  AHHHHHHHHHHH!  So excited!  Many of us wonder if our favorite names rose or fell, if the top 10 changed any, what names fell off the list completely, the new additions, etc.  To gear up for Friday (hopefully they release it Friday), here's a reminder of the top 10 boys and girls names of 2009:

There are many names listed that I've always loved.  These really are great names, popular or not.  Chances are that there won't be any major changes to the top 10, but sometimes we get a surprise and things get interesting again :).  Stay tuned to find out!
